Neonatology Dr Ankur Sharma holds a specialist Neonatology Fellowship (RCPCH UK) with experience in high-risk neonatal follow-up, developmental surveillance of preterm infants, and neonatal complex care coordination. engagement.
As a dedicated Paediatrician with over 14 years of experience, Dr Sharma have had the privilege of working across regional and tertiary centres in Australia, the UK, and India. His clinical experience equips him to handle the job responsibilities at both Central and Regional as well as outer metropolitan hospitals, given him understanding of the clinical spectrum and facility-based safe clinical escalation strategies.
His medical journey has been driven by a commitment to improving the health and well-being of children, from newborns to adolescents, through compassionate and evidence-based care. The skills he has spans General Paediatrics, Neonatology, and Developmental Paediatrics, with a particular focus on managing complex medical conditions and supporting children with developmental challenges such as ASD and ADHD.
Dr Sharma is passionate about interdisciplinary collaboration and have successfully led multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive and holistic care.
